Ulternative Spaces
A design-build studio’s website drawn like an architect’s drawing set, scrolling sideways sheet by sheet.

The brief
Ulternative Spaces designs and builds across Kampala and Juba: residences, commercial complexes, interiors. They wanted a website that felt like their own discipline, not a template dressed up for architects.
What we did
We built the whole site as a drawing set. Every section is a numbered sheet with a title block, scale and revision. A drafting grid with lettered columns runs behind everything. A red survey line at the bottom tracks where you are in the set.
The site scrolls sideways. Each project sits in its own bay along a single elevation, with dimensions drawn between them. The process section is a literal drawn timeline with nodes. Type is bold and architectural, black on white, with one red accent.
Fully responsive: the sheet system reflows to a vertical stack on phones without losing the drawing-set language.
The outcome
A website that reads like the studio’s own work. Clients understand what they do before they read a word.
